The Meindl Meran GTX walking boot is designed as part of the Comfort-Fit range for hikers with wider feet. Boasting 300 years of skilled shoemaking, Meindl introduced the Comfort-Fit range to provide a supportive, easy fit with an enhanced natural
rolling movement.
The uppers are made from waxed nubuck leather with a GORE-TEX
lining, which means the boot is durable as well as fully waterproof
and protective in all conditions.
The Comfort-Fit footbed is made from cork with a cushioning fleece
lining and is wider at the front of the boot in both width and height. The wider base means more surface area to stand on giving moresupport and stability than a standard footbed along with more volume in the toe box.
The Meran GTX is complete with Meindl Comfort Hiker sole guaranteeing a good grip on a variety of surfaces. Ideal for paths and trails.

Meindl Grade A/B - This category blends the two either side of it – A and B – meaning that these boots are suitable for both leisure and hill walking. They can stride out on footpaths and lower level hills. The main difference between these boots and those in category B is that these boots are more flexible and slightly softer in the upper.
